Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the symptoms of psychological combustion in the football coaches in Benghazi city, where the descriptive method was used in its survey method to suit the nature and objectives of the research. The sample included 32 football coaches in Benghazi city, in all grades (excellent, first, second and third) and to collect the data was used questionnaire to measure the symptoms of psychological combustion of the sports coach, which was designed by Mohamed Hassan Allawi (1998). The questionnaire was distributed to all trainers after presenting them to the experts and to verify the validity and consistency of the form.

The results showed that the most psychological symptoms of burning football coaches in the city of Benghazi is the lack of athletic achievement and personal change to the worst and emotional exhaustion, where these axes ranked first in a row, as the center of physical exhaustion and mental exhaustion symptoms of psychological combustion in football coaches In Benghazi for the second consecutive year.

The researchers recommended the need to prepare trainers psychologically and increase their awareness and knowledge of the phenomenon of psychological combustion and negative effects and how to prevent them through training courses, as well as stay away from the negative criticism of trainers by the media and the public or the fans.
