Bullying and its link to mental health among middle school students in Benghazi

The current study aimed to identify the level of school bullying and Mental health among a sample of middle school students in the city of Benghazi, and to identify differences due to gender in school bullying and Mental health among a sample of middle school students in the city of Benghazi, and to know the nature of the relationship between school bullying and Mental health in a sample of Preparatory school students in the city of Benghazi, and on a sample of 100 male and female students, the descriptive, comparative, correlational approach was followed, and the school bullying scale by “Magdy Muhammad Al-Desouki” (2016) and the mental health scale by “Barakat” (1996) were used. The results of the study reached: The level of school bullying in the study sample is high, while the level of mental health is low, and that there are no statistically significant differences for males and females in both school bullying and mental health, and that there is a direct relationship between school bullying and mental health.
