Poets describe the making of poetry

Abstract

The research is classified within critical studies and deals with a new critical topic, which is the poets’ description of their craft, its subtleties, and everything related to it. Thus, it is permissible to call poetry a craft that can be learned and mastered after innate talent, which in my opinion is not enough because talent needs refinement and education. We find that poets have referred to their methods for summoning or evoking poetry, and we found them to be different according to the nature of each poet and according to the influences that surround him, the environment and his literary upbringing. The research also dealt with a description of the craft itself and the methods of poets in their poetic craftsmanship. Rather, we found them praising their poetry and taking pride in their methods in composing their poems and all of this. It can be used in critical, rhetorical, and literary studies in general.
