Evaluating the educational inspection process in the second part of the basic education stage from one point of view View of Arabic language teachers

Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of educational inspection competencies among inspectors of the second part of the basic education stage from the point of view of Arabic language teachers، with its four axes: (cognitive competencies، personal competencies، educational inspection methods competencies، and evaluation competencies). It adopts the descriptive method as a research approach. As it is the most appropriate curriculum to its nature and the most appropriate to achieve its goals and verify its hypotheses، the questionnaire was chosen as a tool for the study، as a questionnaire consisting of (36 items) was prepared، divided into four dimensions، and the study population consisted of Arabic language teachers in the second part of the basic education stage in the city of Al-Marj، who numbered (216) male and female teachers. A simple random sample of 120 individuals was selected using the Krejcie & Morgan table for statistical samples (1970). The results of the research showed the availability of educational inspection competencies in its four axes: (cognitive competencies، personal competencies، educational inspection methods competencies، and evaluation competencies) among Arabic language inspectors in the second part of the basic education stage. It also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample members. Regarding the educational inspection competencies of Arabic language inspectors in the second stage of the basic education stage، they can be attributed to the variables: gender، academic qualification، and years of experience among the sample of the study population.
