The rhythm of the text and its psychological significance - a study in the epitaph of Malik bin Al-Rib

Abstract

       This research seeks to show the expressive value of rhythm and its psychological significance, rhythm is an essential element in the artistic construction of the poetic text, and an artistic means of transferring the poetic experience, and the advantage of poetry specialized by making it recommended for the soul influential in which quick access to it, enters into each structure of the text structures The singular sound has its own rhythm, and the words and structures rhythm distinguishes them, and for repetition and methods and for photography rhythm, as to suit the weight and rhyme and their succession Rhythmic value promotes the music of the text, that music that arouses our attention The aim of the study was to show the relationship between the rhythmic construction of the poem and its semantic content, as it provides the experience of the poet Malik bin Al-Rayb in lamenting himself when facing death as a stranger to his family, by presenting several rhythmic levels in the poem:  Vocal rhythm, rhythm of repetition, rhythm of parallelism, rhythm of weight and rhyme where these stylistic and artistic phenomena in enriching the expressive value of rhythm within the text.
