Evaluating the teaching performance of a faculty member is an urgent necessity for the university to achieve quality education, identify strengths and distinctions, weaknesses and relaxation, and improve and develop performance according to interests and capabilities.
This study aims to present a model of the mechanisms for evaluating the performance of a faculty member at the University of Benghazi with the aim of sustainable professional development and development.
It is worth noting that these mechanisms took into account the integration - almost - in the academic, ethical, cognitive, and teaching methods on the one hand, and the efforts of faculty members on both sides: research and community service on the other hand, and the multiplicity of evaluation media from simple to advanced, which takes into account all Things a faculty member does.
