Total Quality Management in Libyan Universities: A Case Study of the University of Misurata

The aim of this study was to determine the level of the quality of the administrative, as well as, the learning services of the university of Musrata. It aimed also to examine the differences that might be due to the kind of collage from the view point of the university teaching staff. The population of the study consisted of 1022 teaching staff members, during the academic year2013-2014. A simple random sample was chosen. The sample size was 250. A data collection method was developed. It consisted of 95 statements. It was divided into eight dimensions : concentration on the stakeholder, administrational culture, higher administration's support, Continues improvement, concentration on employees, academics' information systems, quality assurance, and relations with suppliers. The data collection's tool was tested for validity and reliability. The study's evidences showed that a raise in the quality of the learning and administrative services at the university of Musrata in all dimensions, except the demission of academics' information systems. At the same time, there was no significant statistical difference on the level of the quality of administrative and learning services at the university of Musrata, with regard to the kind of collage variable.
