The educational transformation towards a knowledge economy in faculty of Arts at the University of Benghazi

The study aimed to identify the requirement’s for the educational transformation towards a knowledge economy in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Benghazi, in addition to identifying whether there are statistically significant differences between the average estimates of the faculty members in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Benghazi for the requirements of the educational transformation towards a knowledge economy attributable to the two variables of the study ( Gender, degree). It also aims to reveal the significance of the correlative relationship between the requirements of the educational transformation towards a knowledge economy in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Benghazi, from the point of view of its faculty members and their professional experience. The study population consisted of all the faculty members in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Benghazi during the academic year 2020-2021, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the two researchers used the questionnaire after the paragraphs were collected from previous studies. Where the statistical package for the social sciences (spss) was used, Physical requirements came first, followed by educational policy requirements in second place, while research requirements came third. The results also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in determining the requirements for educational transformation among the faculty members in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Benghazi due to the two variables (gender, academic degree), and the results also demonstrated the existence of a positive and statistically significant correlation between the requirements of educational transformation. Towards a knowledge economy in the Faculty of Arts, University of Benghazi, from the point of view of its faculty members and their professional experience.
