Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the role of school principals among orphaned children, and to identify the impact of variables (gender, educational qualification, and years of service) in the opinions of the study sample of the role of school principals in raising awareness among teachers to follow up the conditions of orphaned children.
And to achieve the objectives of the study, it was based on the analytical descriptive curriculum, and a questionnaire consisting of (38) paragraphs was built, which included four axes, namely the conditions of orphaned children (health, educational, social, and psychological) the study sample reached (235) teachers from the Ministry of Education in Gaza Governorate, and were selected indiscriminately from the school community.
The study reached the most important results, the most important of which is that the role of the school principals of the Ministry of Education in raising awareness among teachers to follow up the conditions of the orphaned children has come to a large extent with an arithmetic average (4.18), and a percentage of 83.7% , the axis of social conditions of orphaned children and the lack of statistically significant differences between the average estimates of study sample members of the role school principals of the Ministry of Education in raising awareness among teachers to follow up the conditions of orphaned children due to variables (Gender, educational qualification, years of service).
And one of the most important recommendations of the study are : the need for school principals to make teachers aware of the care of orphaned children by reminding them of the virtues of their upbringing related to the satisfaction of God , and neighboring prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) in paradise and hereafter, and success in the life, and paying attention to the integrated care by school principals and teachers in following up the conditions of orphaned children health, educationally, psychologically and socially.
