Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of faculty members in the faculties of education at the University of Benghazi in developing some educational and aesthetic values for their students. academic، years of experience)، The study used the descriptive-analytical approach، and the study population consisted of all faculty members who are in the faculties of Education / University of Benghazi، whose number is (235) faculty members (Qaminas، Benghazi، Al-Marj) from which a random sample of (76) faculty members (males) was selected. - female)، To collect the data، the questionnaire was used as a tool for the study، and the statistical program for the social sciences (SPSS) was adopted to analyze the data. The study reached several results، including: First، the results showed that the role of the teaching staff was characterized by a high level in general، and also in detail. The study concluded that moral values were at a very high level and in the first order. While the economic values were characterized by a very high level and in the second rank، the scientific values were also at a very high level and in the third rank، and the political، educational and aesthetic values were distinguished by a high level and in the fourth، fifth and sixth rank، respectively.

The results also revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the male sample and the female sample in the level of the role of faculty members in favor of the female sample، As for the rest of the other study variables (age، educational qualification، degree، and years of experience)، there are no statistically significant differences in the level of the role of faculty members according to these variables.
