Purpose of this Page

The Announcements page is the official notice board of the Libyan Journal of Dentistry (LJD). It is maintained by the editorial office on a rolling basis and provides authors, reviewers, readers, and librarians with timely information about the journal's activities. All announcements are preserved in the archive below and are never deleted.

Categories of Announcement

The editorial office publishes the following types of announcement:

• Calls for papers — invitations to submit manuscripts for forthcoming regular issues
• Special issues — scope, guest editors, submission deadlines, and acceptance criteria
• Editorial notices — changes to journal policy or procedure of public interest
• Board appointments — new or departing members of the Editorial Board or Advisory Board
• Journal news — indexing achievements, platform upgrades, milestones, and awards
• Correction and retraction notices — where public announcement is appropriate and required by COPE guidelines
• Forthcoming events — conferences and activities of relevance to the dental sciences community

   

  Every announcement carries:

  • Date of posting (DD Month YYYY)
  • Category label in square brackets
  • A concise title and description
  • A contact email address for further information
