Mandate of the Advisory Board

The full mandate of the Advisory Board is set out in §IV-16. In summary, the Advisory Board:

• Advises the Editor-in-Chief on the long-term direction of the journal;
• Comments on the journal's scope, its quality standards, and its strategy for growth;
• Advises on the journal's indexing strategy, including applications to DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and Arcif;
• Reviews the journal's principal policies at least every three years;
• Provides an independent perspective on serious integrity matters when invited by the Editor-in-Chief;
• Represents the journal in the international scholarly community and helps recruit high-quality submissions and reviewers.

Meetings

• The Advisory Board responds to the invitation of the Editor-in-Chief to meet.
• The Advisory Board may issue recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief and to matters affecting the journal.
